By participating, the entrant agrees to these terms and conditions:

2. A second entry will be applied if the entrant has tagged a friend in this Mountains Magazine Instagram post.

3. The Promoter of this competition is Mountains Magazine.
4. The Provider of this prize is CMP.
5. The closing date for entries is 1 March 2026. Entries after this date will not be valid.
6. The prize: A CMP twill ski jacket, colour: Nilo or Royal Blue.
7. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash. This prize is non-transferrable and non-refundable.
8. No purchase necessary.
9. Entry is free and open to residents of the mainland UK aged 18 or over who submit a valid entry to the competition.
10. The prize promoter cannot accept responsibility for late or lost entries.
11. Incomplete, fraudulent, multiple or spam entries will be disallowed.
12. Mountains Magazine reserves the right to exclude entrants from the offer or prize at any time if it believes that the entrant has breached one or more entry conditions, provided inaccurate or incomplete information or otherwise acted in a legally impermissible manner.
13. Employees of the promoter or provider, all other prize partners, its agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion, and their families, are excluded from entering this competition.
14. The winner will be chosen at random from those entrants whose entries have reached Mountains Magazine by the closing date.
15. The winner will be announced within two weeks of the competition closing. Details of how to claim the prize will then be sent by email. The winner must confirm acceptance in writing of the prize within seven days of being contacted.
16. Mountains Magazine's decision regarding selection of winners is final and there will be no further correspondence. The Promoter and provider shall not be responsible should a winner provide incorrect contact details.
17. If for any reason a winner is unable to accept the prize, the Provider has the right to select another winner at its discretion. The Promoter and Provider do not accept any responsibility if the winner is unable to accept the prize. If a prize cannot be claimed due to special circumstances, the winner is not entitled to payment or replacement.
18. The Promoter and Provider accept no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable for other goods or services and cannot be taken as cash.
19. The providers reserve the right to substitute the prize to a jacket of similar style and value. Should the value of any prize be less than the value stated, the difference will not be awarded in cash or in kind.
20. The Promoter, prize Providers and any associated third party accept no liability for any loss, expense or damage which is suffered whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss and whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case such liability is limited to the maximum extent allowable by law).
21. The Promoter and Provider are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this promotion.
22. The competition will be delivered under the terms of the UK’s laws and regulations.
23. The winner may be required to take part in reasonable publicity and by entering the competition you agree to take part in any reasonable promotion.
24. The Promoter will also use entrants’ personal data for direct marketing purposes where consent has been provided via the opt-in check box provided. This includes communications containing news, offers and information. We may also share your personal information, if opt in consent has been given, with third parties, to help manage our business and deliver services. These third parties may include service providers, who perform functions on our behalf such as sending emails, analysis of data, providing marketing assistance. Personal data may be transferred and processed outside of the EU and EEA. You have the right to ask us for more information about the safeguards put in place for transfer of data. You have the right to opt-out at any time, by following the links in the communications to you.

26. The Provider reserves the right to discontinue the offer at any time without giving reasons or to change the terms and conditions of the offer in the interim.
